Schools

PACT ABA is excited to collaborate with your school team!  If you have a student who is displaying repeated challenging behaviors, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) may be able to help. We will work with parents, teachers, related service providers and school administrators to develop an individualized support plan that focuses on increasing attention, on-task behavior, following group directions, completing assignments and appropriate social behavior, among others.

Our consultation-based school services are designed for school-age children, who are struggling to reach their potential in the classroom.

Our Board Certified Behavior Analyst will:

  • Conduct a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) in the classroom
  • Develop an individualized Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP)
  • If necessary, develop a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) to address persistent challenging behaviors
  • Work with school team to develop IEP/504 plan goals
  • Provide training for the management of challenging behaviors in the classroom

Does your classroom or school building require a high-quality behavior technician to assist support the children in your building? You may choose to hire your own Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work intensively in the school environment. PACT ABA can provide the training, competency assessment, and ongoing supervision for this provider.

Registered Behavior Technicians are not independent practitioners, and must be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in order to provide ABA therapy, PACT ABA offers assessments, treatment plan development, and BCBA supervision to participating schools. This model ensures quality ABA services are provided, while lowering the cost of ongoing consultation to meet your school's needs.

Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are bound by a Professional and Ethical Compliance Code. The provision of Behavior Analytic supervision by a BCBA to paraprofessionals implementing ABA treatment plans is regulated and controlled by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.

Medical Practices

Do you have a patient in your practice that have difficulty with compliance during their medical and dental appointments? We’re here to help!  Let us work directly with the families and caregivers to address the child’s individual needs.  We are available to (including but not limited to):

  • Communicating with the patient’s caregivers to understand the function of the behavior
  • Prepare the patient for their appointment through pictures, social stories, and conversation
  • Present to staff a list of antecedent strategies that may be used to comfort the patient
  • Attend the appointment with the patient to provide time-sensitive reinforcement for engaging in appropriate procedures
  • Debrief with staff and families about what can be done during future appointments

Do you have a patient that could benefit from at home focused programming?  We would appreciate your referral.

BCBA Candidates

Our BCBA supervision focuses on teaching skills that prepare trainees for independence in a BCBA role. Learn how to apply BACB Task List concepts in real life scenarios. • In-person (within WNY) and beyond (via HIPAA compliant telemedicine) supervision

Meet and Greet

Free 30 minute consultation- Let‘s meet virtually to get to know one another, review our supervision program, curriculum and requirements, including accumulating restricted vs. unrestricted hours. This time will also be used to discuss your personal interests and goals so that we can start to customize your individual experience. Following our meeting, you will have an opportunity to review and sign the required supervision contract and set up a reoccurring schedule for our meetings.

Meetings will consist of interactive teaching of a topic including use of visuals, modeling, and role play, followed by structured assignments that will be completed independently outside of meeting times. Our supervision services include ongoing feedback opportunities, mentorship, and customized training topics. Our independent activities will give you many opportunities to accumulate hours while reviewing the BACB Task List.
