At PACT ABA we do our best to make the intake process as simple and welcoming as possible! If you believe that you or your family may benefit from our services, please call or send us a message. We provide a free 30-minute consultation to discuss our services and your needs prior to completing the intake application. We strive to create a menu of services for a variety of needs. Please reach out if you have any questions or are interested in a service that is not specifically listed on our website.
Initial intake assessments are typically 4-hours in length. For the direct meeting and observation portion, a BCBA will meet with your family to discuss services and observe your child during play to assess skill levels. If the client is older, the BCBA may spend more time interviewing him/her about his/her goals and preferences. This will be followed by a 2-hour indirect writing session used to score and interpret formal assessments as well as report writing. At the end of the intake process a more formal recommendation regarding therapy will be provided.
Before we begin services, we offer a free 30 minute phone call to our prospective clients to review our services, get to know about the child’s needs, and ensure that we are the best fit for your family.
After inquiring about services, our team will email you an intake application.
We will reach out to you to schedule an intake assessment. This assessment occurs over 1-2 sessions in the home, clinic, or community setting. Sessions typically last 2 hours. During this time, we may ask to sit with you to review some questions regarding your child’s development. BCBAs conduct all assessments.
Following the assessment, a BCBA will set a time to review outcomes of the assessment, the treatment plan, and recommended service hours and treatment goals.
Our team will work with you to create a schedule based on your child's availability and recommended treatment hours. Based on the outcomes of the assessments and your scheduling needs.
Services will start with us getting to know your child. The first few of sessions will consist of playing, exploring your child's interests, and learning the finer points of how they communicate and what motivates them.
PACT ABA participates with United Healthcare/Optum, CDPHP, Highmark BCBS, Independent Health, Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, and Univera.
At PACT ABA we pride ourselves on exceptional, individual services exclusively provided by a BCBA. Following the intake process, you can expect a Good Faith Estimate for the services recommended to your family.
