ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis. ABA is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or impact learning. ABA therapy is typically prescribed as a treatment for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Positive Approach Customized Therapy (PACT) was created as we realized there was a heavy need for quality ABA providers in the Western New York area and beyond. Our desire is to always provide exceptional, professional, and ethical ABA services to families through collaboration. We believe that the family is the key to understanding the child as a whole person. We know how tough it can be when a child receives a diagnosis, but our goal is to do everything that we can to help as many families as we can—even if it’s not with us. We work with families to create an action plan that will work for their busy lives and schedule. If our services are not recommended, we are happy to refer your family to other service providers in the local area.
Sarah LeFevre, MS, BCBA, LBA (NY) graduated from Canisius college with a Master's degree in Special Education and an advanced certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. Sarah began her career working with families from Western New York and developed a passion for children and adults on the Autism Spectrum.
